Delaware Men
The Delaware men are 1-1 heading into Wednesday night’s game at the Bob Carpenter Center vs. LaSalle. Grad student big man Dylan Painter leads the Hens with averages of 16 points and 8 rebounds per game and a team-leading 5 steals. Sanford graduate/2020 DSBA boys’ basketball player of the year Jyare Davis is seeing action for UD as well, averaging 6 points per game in his first two outings.
Delaware Women
The UD women are 1-1 after losing their home opener to Princeton, the picking up a win against Chestnut Hill. Senior guard/forward Jasmine Dickey leads the Hens in scoring (17.5 ppg) and rebounds (8.5 per game). Sophomore guard Tyi Skinner is averaging 16 points per game and leads UD in total assists with 9.
Delaware State Men
The Hornet men are 1-2 heading into Tuesday’s home game against Regent University. Junior guard Dominik Fragala leads the team in scoring at 19 points per game, while all-MEAC pick Myles Carter averages 13 points and eight rebounds per game. Junior center Chris Sodom leads the team with 9.3 rebounds per game and ranks among the top 30 in NCAA Division I in blocked shots (3 per game).
Delaware State Women
The Hornet women have lost both games they’ve played so far, 87-46 at Stony Brook and 51-36 to former MEAC rival Hampton. First-year guard Sianny Sanchez Oliver leads the team with 11.5 points per game while senior guard Kiana Coomber leads the Hornets in rebounding (7.5 per game.)
Delaware Tech Men
After sitting out the 2020-21 season because of COVID concerns, Delaware Tech returned to action November 4th with a 70-59 win over Community College of Philadelphia, but have found it to be tough sledding in the aftermath, losing four straight games. DTCC is led by Smyrna graduate Izaiah Credle (averaging 18 points per game) and Mount Pleasant alum Rashaan Butler (12 points, 2.6 assists per game.)
Delaware Tech Women
The Delaware Tech women are only seven players deep, but are very competitive in the program’s first action since the 2017-2018 season. The Del Tech women are 3-3 and coming off a 73-53 win over Hagerstown Junior College at home on November 14th. Former Brandywine standout Armani Bell-Jackson leads the team in scoring with 20 points per game. Smyrna alumna Melena Credle (18 points per game) and Delcastle’s Daqira Lancaster-Navarro (16 points per game) are also heavy contributors.
Goldey-Beacom Men
The Goldey-Beacom men’s basketball season started roughly with two tough losses at Bridgeport and Southern Connecticut State. Junior guard Nazim Derry leads the team in scoring (17 points per game) while senior guard Tyler Jones is second in scoring (14.5) and leads the team in rebounding (8 per game), assists (5.5 per game) and total steals (8).
Goldey-Beacom Women
The Lightning women have started the season 2-0 after wins over Saint Michael’s and Saint Rose in Philly this past weekend. Junior forward Alexis Harrison leads GBC with 14 points per game and 6 total blocks. Sussex Tech grad Janiya Stevens leads the team in rebounds with 7 per game and is averaging 6.5 points per game as a starter. Sanford graduate Kanisa Tucker and St. Elizabeth’s Julie McCarron have also seen time in each of Goldey-Beacom’s first two games.
Wilmington U. Men
The Wildcat men dropped their first two games at the Delta Hotel Doc Jacobs Tip-Off Classic this past weekend. Cape Henlopen grad Randy Rickards in second on the team in scoring (12 points per game) and rebounds (8 per game). William Penn’s Danny Walsh leads the team in assists (3 per game) while Smyrna’s Caleb Matthews is averaging 8 points per game off the bench. Redshirt senior guard Kameron Cooper is the team’s leading scorer at 13.5 points per game and Newark Charter alum Justin Thomas is the team’s leading rebounder (11 per game).
Wilmington U. Women
The Wilmington women lost both of their games at the College of Staten Island tournament over the weekend. Senior center Sabreen Muslim leads the team in scoring (17 points per game) and rebounds (10 per game). Newark Charter graduate Emily Ansah is averaging 6.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and a team-high 4 assists per game. New Castle native Amaja Mack is also seeing time for the WilmU women, averaging 4.5 points per game.

Men’s Basketball
Eric Ayala (Wilmington native, former Sanford student-athlete, senior, Maryland): Scored his 1,000th career point in the Terps’ 83-69 season-opening win over Quinnipiac. Second on team in scoring at 15.3 points per game through three games.
Myles Cale (Appoquinimink grad, Grad Student, Seton Hall): Scored his 1,000th career point in the Pirates’ 93-48 win over Farleigh Dickinson November 10th. Averaging 13 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2 assists per game through two games.
Mikey Dixon (Sanford grad, Senior, Idaho): Scored his 1,000th career point in the Vandals’ 95-89 loss to Long Beach State November 10th. Averaging 16 points and 3 assists per game through two games.
Donoven Mack (Tower Hill grad., Freshman, Cabrini): Started all 3 games for the Cavaliers, averaging 7.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while ranking second on the team in total steals (6).
Kyson Rawls (St. Georges grad, Senior, Neumann): Third on Knights in scoring (11.7 points per game) and second in assists (2 per game).
Women’s Basketball
Ronnasia Blatch-Huggins (Howard grad, Sophomore, University of District Columbia): 9.5 points and 13 rebounds per game in the Firebirds’ first two contests. Had a double-double (12 points and 19 rebounds) in UDC’s 63-58 win over Caldwell University November 13th.
Dymond Collins (St. Elizabeth grad, Junior, Neumann): started each of the Knights’ first three games, second on team in rebounding (6 per game).
Kryshell Gordy (Ursuline grad, senior, Lincoln): Started each of the Lions’ first four games, leads team in rebounding (10.8 per game) and total blocks (8).
Abbey Hearn (Cape grad, Sophomore, Kutztown): 9.4 points, 3.4 rebounds per game, 45.5 percent three-point percentage in Kutztown’s first five games.
Terea Hunt (Caravel grad, Junior, Neumann): Started each of the Knights’ first three games, averaging 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Allie Kubek (Sanford grad, Sophomore, Towson): 17.7 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block per game in Tigers’ 3-0 start. Career-high 25 points in Towson’s 64-48 win over Wofford on November 14th.
Stefanie Kulesza (Conrad grad, First-Year, UMass): Scored 8 points (2 threes, 2-2 from the free throw line) in her season debut for UMass.
Kaylee Otlowski (Caravel grad, Senior, Salisbury): 18 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 assists per game, 7 steals and 4 blocks total in the Sea Gulls’ first three games.
Lauren Park-Lane (Sanford grad, Junior, Seton Hall): 19.5 points, 5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals per game in Pirates’ first two games.
Naia Pulliam (St. Elizabeth grad, First-Year, Kutztown): 6.6 points, 3.2 rebounds per game, 42.9 percent three-point percentage in Kutztown’s first five games.
Madison Stewart (Archmere grad, Sophomore, Neumann): 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 7 total steals in her first two games of the season.
Ber’Nyah Ward-Mayo (St. Elizabeth grad, Sophomore, UMass): 14.5 points, 10 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 4.5 steals per game in UMass’ first two games
